James Turrell in Hannover
Do you know James Turrell? Born in Los Angeles in 1943, the artist is famous for his truly magical-seeming light and space installations. Turrell's arrival in Hannover brings one of contemporary art's most prominent figures to the capital of Lower Saxony. From 2025 onwards an installation that we have commissioned by Turrell in the artist's Skyspace series will be on view in the freshly restored sculpture garden in Hannover.
Masterclass students
The Hannover Re Foundation supports talented young artists through the "Masterclass Students" exhibition series. Since 2014 students at Braunschweig University of Art have been given the opportunity to display their works and have them documented in a high-quality catalogue. In April 2023 the Hannover Re Foundation opened the anniversary edition of the series under the title "ReVisited".
