Rethinking environmental protection

We cooperate with the Berlin Falling Walls Foundation – a unique platform that brings together thought leaders, emerging talent and leaders from the worlds of science, business and society. Together, we are launching a summer school for talented young innovators and researchers.

Restoring forest ecosystems

We support the association Bergwaldprojekt e. V. with our donation. The association is actively involved Germany-wide in protecting, preserving and caring for forests. In 2022 it was honoured as a UN Decade Project as part of the UN Decade on Ecosystem Restoration.

Protection of the moors

With our donation we help the Nature and Biodiversity Conservation Union (NABU) of Lower Saxony to preserve existing moorland as functioning ecosystems and thereby support an important preventive measure. This is because moors are at the same time species-rich habitats and effective carbon sinks.
