The Hannover Re Foundation supports talented young artists through the "Meisterschüler:innen" exhibition series. Since 2014, students at Braunschweig University of Art have been given the opportunity to display their works and have them documented in a high-quality catalogue.

James Turrell in Hannover

Do you know James Turrell? Born in Los Angeles in 1943, the artist is famous for his truly magical-seeming light and space installations. Turrell's arrival in Hannover brings one of contemporary art's most prominent figures to the capital of Lower Saxony. From 2026 onwards an installation that we have commissioned by Turrell in the artist's Skyspace series will be on view in the freshly restored sculpture garden in Hannover.

Floating Earth

The sensational installation Floating Earth by Luke Jerram artistically presents a completely new perspective on our fragile planet earth. The German premiere at the KunstFestSpiele Herrenhausen 2024 in Hannover was co-financed by the Hannover Re Foundation.

E+S Rück Examenskonzert

Through the E+S Rück “Examenskonzert”, the Hannover Re Foundation supports students at the Hanover University of Music, Drama and Media (HMTMH) in their soloist training. In a festive setting, the soloists get the chance to perform with a symphony orchestra.
