The future needs us

Protecting life, property and assets is Hannover Re's core expertise. We are aware of the dangers and consequences of climate change or the loss of biodiversity. And we are aware of our social responsibility as a company. That is why we are giving something back to preserve the foundations of life for subsequent generations.

The Hannover Re Foundation has made environmental and climate protection, and above all adaptation to climate change, a major area of emphasis. With this in mind, we need the help of key ecosystems such as forests, moorland or seas. We therefore support, for example, not-for-profit projects that preserve or restore ecosystems and at the same time share knowledge as to how we can efficiently manage natural resources.
